Downtown Comprehensive Parking Study

Project Description

In December of 2019, the EURA issued a formal Request for Proposal seeking the services of firms or individuals to perform a comprehensive parking study of downtown parking to determine the demand for and the supply of parking, to include both on-street and off-street parking. The study would include analysis of Downtown Eagle’s current parking system, its future parking needs, and provide short-term and long-term parking strategies for the Business District. Also, the study will review the parking experience in the Business District and make recommendations on improving that experience.

The agency has selected Kimley-Horn as the best proposal, however, due to COVID-19 and the out-of-the-norm current business environment, the agency has decided to table the item and has requested an extension from the consultant on the proposal.   The agency will discuss and vote on reconsideration the project again in September of 2020.
